I just started messing with this for the first time tonight, it appears to engage in 4H too. ABS makes a lot of noise but it didn't appear to totally lock the rear wheel. I was turning left and was watching the left rear.It works great. First you must be in 4low, then you can turn it on. You'll see "turn assist on" or something like that in the display. It activates only when you are make a hard turn one way or the other. It just locks up one of the rear wheels. You'll hear the ABS working. Try it with and without next time you're off pavement. Much smaller turn radius.
I used it for the first time a couple weeks ago when I saw the Jeep in front of us have to make multiple attempts to turn around. Yeah, it's noisy AF, but it significantly improves the turning radius. My wife was a bit shocked when I was able to turn our rig around in one swoop.I just started messing with this for the first time tonight, it appears to engage in 4H too. Thanks, but does it work in 4H as well as 4L?I used it for the first time a couple weeks ago when I saw the Jeep in front of us have to make multiple attempts to turn around. It does, however, chew up the trail. Use it judiciously.
