Tazer lite ?

I have the Tazer Lite for my 2020 Jl. I had dealer service and un married the unit. I wanted to make sure its up to date and opened the program on the computer. I should be able to see the device and software version correct ?
When I plug it in the screen for configure doesn't show much if anything as in the device is not recognized ?
Am I missing something ?

So I tried using my older Mac with no success on the operating system. I downloaded to my wife's Mac and the cord didn't fit her outputs. I ordered a usb to mini USB adapter. Im guessing thats my issue then.

Probably my luck
I pulled out our old desktop and having trouble getting the windows dowload to take.
About par for the course. Basically my tech and the tool just don't seem to like each other.

The Mac version of the update software hasn't been available or supported for a while now. Do like my Apple employee friend does and find a friend with a PC.

A ways back, there was an issue with the "macOS" utility and ZAutomotive (Joe) actually pulled it from their website... but not to long ago a reworked, "macOS" utility became available on the ZAutomotive website. That utility is still available for download today 5/6/23..

So no matter what I did and 2 different Mac I couldn't get it going. Probably an issue on my end with older running systems.
I did have an older windows pc I haven't used in quite some time.
After some updates on the computer got the Z Automotive to run and for all of that it already had the latest software.
