I’m wondering if it will be beeping or something the entire time I’m aired down, or just a message on the EVIC? Because it was at 36 psi, and I’m well below that, I’m surprised I wasn’t already getting the message. But maybe they’re just where the Tazer started; I’ll lower it today to like 28 and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
No beeping with mine, but the display defaults to the warning.

Yes, ESS was off when I was turning it off, and it kept resetting to on.

I also saw TPMS but didn’t really get how to change the number, which was set at like 36 (and I’m at 32 psi with 37” KO2s). So I will check that again today. Is there a way to turn it off for when I air down? Thanks.
Look at the manual but in the TPMS screen you can lower the number or turn it off all together. I just lowered it and then ignore the screen nag when airing down

I have a Tazer on my mod’d Sport to deal with tire size, gears etc and has worked pretty much flawlessly. For the Start/Stop what it doe sis remember the last position of the ESS button on th vehicle over Jeep restarts. Basically if you turn it off it stays off over Jeep restarts unless you toggle it back on. I use that to keep ESS off and it works flawlessly - I can‘t remember if you have to first turn on via the Tazer but that will be in the instructions. For winch mode I keep meaning to implement but haven’t done that so can’t comment. Also make sure you have the latest firmware installed to get all the fixes and features. Now if it is not working on winch mode I would contact Z-Automotive via text as they instruct and the owner is very responsive to that mode of contact. When I first got the Tazer I had an issue with fit of the Tazer and he addressed it very quickly.
I will send them a text, thank you. My unit, which I got through a wholesaler, was paired to another vehicle; I have to deal with that $50 charge now to unlock it. But some of the features just aren’t there; I did do the firmware update but I’ll try it again. My ESS is resetting every time with the button on the dash; it won’t stay off.

Idk about you but my 23 diesel doesn't like the tazer. If i keep it plugged in, after I adjusted for 37s with stock gearing and latest firmware, it gives a shifter service warning constantly. Yes i did the correct shutdown procedures and all by the book. I unplug it, and it did change shift points but kind of a waste since I wanted the rest of the features. But eventually I'll get on support and see if I can figure it out. Tried changing my DRLS and that didn't work either.

Tpms alert was possible to change tho.

I haven’t had time yet to re-run the software so that I can open up a ticket with Z automotive. I am anxious to do so. I still don’t see any winch options, no brake options, and most importantly, my ESS won’t stay off. 23 diesel as well.

How long have you had it?

You may have to play with it more and go through all the options. There were things I missed at the beginning as well. Videos help to step by step it.

3 days. I’ll watch more videos, but I’m pretty anal. Those instructions aren’t great; it wouldn’t take much to rewrite those. But I appreciate it; if you have some suggested videos to watch, please link. I’ll rerun the software too; mine was paired to another vehicle when I opened the box.

Just installed mine tonight on my 2023 diesel. I couldn’t find Winch Mode at all, nor any of the brake modes. Also, isn’t keeping my start/stop button in the off position (which was one of the main reasons I bought it). Thoughts? I AM using a GPS tracker in my OBD2 port; I’ll try unplugging that tomorrow. Thanks.
So the brake and winch are the live settings. Which means you have to turn it on, and I assume you did that right?

If so. This video by quadratech.
@11:30 is when he talks about the live features. @14:00 is winch specifically.

Also may have to marry to your vehicle unless you've already done so.

Have you tried re-burning the firmware? Mine had lots of issues until I did that (the version hadn't changed).

He means reloading the software. Question: do I unmarry first before I update the software? That’s my next step.

I’ll watch that quadratec video. Nowhere on any menu did it give me an option to turn on brake or winch features.

The three horn honk on removal of keys: it works sometimes, and sometimes it honks.

The ESS hasn’t held once.

So some features are there, and some are not. I’ll start with a redo on the software update and go from there. If you know if I need to unmarry first, please advise.

It's when you connect the Tazer to your computer, run their software, then have their software push new code into your Tazer (whatever terms they use for that process).

If that process doesn't go perfectly then it behaves strangely. That happened with mine.

If you have already married it to your own vehicle, I wouldn't see why you would be to unmarry it personally and don't think I've read anywhere that it needs to be, but I could be wrong.

I'm fairly confident that you don't need to unmarry to update it. It couldn't, however, hurt...other than being a pain to set everything up from scratch again.

Hmm, I don't recall any issue.. and in what way did it not go perfectly when it happened to you?
