Why make the riser only half the size?
Meets the needs of the task while allowing room for the clamps and paracord to function. We tried a few variations, this size worked best for function, manufacturing and meeting pricepoint.

Another +1 for Springtail Solutions TailGate table....

Easy Install; no rattles and another storage solution option. You tube video is spot on, only word of cation is drilling the bottom holes....I had to open mine up a little more due to they weren't lining up with the tailgate female thread. As noted in install video put bolts in lose to give you that play you need to adjust to user error :)

Nothing like coffee early mrning out of the back of the jeep:)

Thanks again Doc...looking forward to a JLU straddle bracket?? Any plans in the future?? @Springtail

Thanks man!

I don't think a straddle per se' but I might work something up for the center console this winter. I have two projects going on for the JL right now. The first is a rear seat delete for the JLU (https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...t-delete-sleeping-platform.36641/#post-846063) and a super-secret project for the dash called the "SLURM" (Super Long Utility Ram Mount).

My wife is getting kind of edgy about the seat delete because the top and doors have been off the Jeep all Summer and its starting to cool down in Iowa.

Yep....I like to have fun with Acronyms

My wife vetoed "Strategically Placed Utility Ram Mount" (SPURM) :)

When I ordered my Rubi 2-door late last year, I included the Trail-Rail option because it clearly showed the tailgate table in the configurator for the Trail-Rail option and the salesman says if it shows it, it comes with it...FCA has since corrected the picture in the configurator and now does not show table, original salesman of course is gone...Not much money, just an annoyance not to get what you expected.

All you have to do is remove the trail rail and buy the original plastic insert ($12.00) and you will be good to go with any table you want.

Yup. You may have missed my point however...not about the money, was about the annoyance of not getting what was illustrated in original option description. I merely commented as I was glancing through the posts on tailgate tables.

NICE! I've been looking at this one. How do you like? Any rattles with all those folding panels?
Thanks

There is some rattles but nothing that a few small adhesive bumpers will not solve.
Other than that it’s cool as shit. :). I love how it looks and folds.
