I attempted to call multiple times to troubleshoot it and never got a ticket number. When I saw someone at Moab and told them about it, they told me where to buy a new latch and rear light (the light on the tailgate table also stopped working).

My wife called a few times as well. I'm not sure she ever got a ticket number.

We had to remove it because of the noise so I've more or less given up on it.
Sorry to hear that. Were you able to leave a message when you called? We have several full time customer service reps, but we can't answer every phone call if they're on the other lines.

I would love to get this sorted for you and make sure you can get full use out of your VersaTable. The latches are pretty simple and work great when aligned properly. The instructions should walk you through the process of setting the stud length as well as how to install. You're not going to be in Moab anytime soon, are you? I'm there pretty often and would be more than happy to get this sorted for you, personally.

Here are the instructions - https://americanadventurelab.com/files/instructions/JL-1500 - Versatable Instructions.pdf

I like to put all of the bolts in, including the mounting stud. Then, tighten the Quick-Latch stud to the specified length. Next, shut the table to make sure the Quick-Latch stud is aligned into the Quick-Latch button. Then, tighten the bottom bolts that are exposed below the table. Then, open the table and tighten the top bolts.

Once aligned properly, it will make quite possibly the most satisfying clicking sound in the world when it closes.

Received my AAL Versa Table yesterday. Was packaged well and so far the build quality looks excellent. I’ll install it this weekend and post some additional pics.

I am hoping for a slide out platform for my refrigerator/power station that I have strapped together. Meaning I need a slide that is about 40in by 18in. One big reason I don’t have a cargo shelf is my fridge is stationary.

You're in luck! We're working on the platform now for the 2-door JL. We are able to fit a 40" slide in it. It's going to be a really nice setup. Here's the thread for that project - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...door-jl-storage-american-adventure-lab.156346

I'll have a good progress update for that thread this evening, hopefully.

Finally got my AAL Versa Table installed this weekend. Fits great and is very solid. No rattles at all. I swear the added weight actually quiets the normal tail gate rattle over heavier bumps.

huh?

tailgate rattle is not "normal".
Mine has rattled from new, only over very heavy bumps. I thought it was normal 🤷🏻‍♂️
My dad’s JK does it an and old TJ I had did it. All 3 sound similar and only occurs over heavy bumps. It has since quieted down with the addition of the table 🤷🏻‍♂️
