I had terrible luck getting my latch to work. Keeps falling and rattling. I've tried to contact American Adventure Lab with no luck. Third time I've had awful customer service with that company. Absolutely no more.

That sucks. I really don’t like to hear that. Makes me nervous now about my purchase. @Adventure Lab (Team) any input here?

Love to see it! I know we may be partial but our VersaTables are one of the products we take the most pride in. custom color and cut out options available.

I may have possibly missed something with every other table that I have seen. This is the first one that looks like it mounts to the metal of the tailgate instead of drilling through & mounting to the fiber/plastic panel that comes stock on the tailgate.

The latch has a lifetime warranty. It's a great product and works perfect when adjusted well. As with any moving product, it may need to be adjusted over time. Room for adjustment is built into the attachment hole for the receiving button.

The latch is American made by Quick Latch USA. We are proud to work with their product.

Let me know your trouble ticket number and I'll be glad to dig into it for you.

That's exactly how it works. For the bottom, we bolt on two brackets to OEM holes. For the top, we bolt directly into existing threaded holes. The middle hole at the top is what the Quick-Latch stud directly screws into. That's why it feels sturdy when you shut it. The bottom holes on the table align with the brackets that first bolted to the tailgate. It's a firm mount and easy to remove if needed.

@Adventure Lab (Team) makes the best products and their tailgate table is legit. I had one on my 2019 Ocean Blue JLUR and will definitely be getting one for my 2025 Joose JLUR.

here's your Serving Suggestion pic. 😉
(no, you can't see the table well, but i don't typically take pics of a table and you can look them up here if you want to see better pics.)

i used the Outback Adventure Products Trailgater. have never had a problem or rattle with it, and don't find it difficult to pop one side at a time for the rare events when i want to open it and only have one hand available.
it does take a fraction of an inch away from your overall interior length, but i imagine all of them do that.
it does also reduce the airflow through the exit vents in the rear door that arguably may interfere to some degree in the operation of airbags, but it's not as bad as some of them.
i don't think there are any that are perfect.

my wifes idea of fun on a beach somewhere in Washington or Oregon:

here's a pic while in typical use (enjoying a coffee-like substance at Loon Lake, before the Rubicon):

I’ve searched for a tailgate table thread and haven’t found one so I wanted to see what yall are using for your tailgate table and what you like or don’t like about them.
After a few trips out and using the top of the cooler on the back of the jeep as my sandwich table I’m over it and now I’m in the market for one. I’d like it to have the pull out cutting board for more table space. It I’m open.

Me too! I actually just ordered some door panels and messaged you all about colors. Hopefully you get it before my order is fully processed!
That probably went to our Customer Service Team, but if you can share the order number I'll check it out. Thanks!

Just to satisfy my curiosity what is the weight of your tailgate table?

I attempted to call multiple times to troubleshoot it and never got a ticket number. When I saw someone at Moab and told them about it, they told me where to buy a new latch and rear light (the light on the tailgate table also stopped working).

My wife called a few times as well. I'm not sure she ever got a ticket number.

We had to remove it because of the noise so I've more or less given up on it.
