I bought the Quadratec table Initially; good features and seemed solid. After a few trails and subsequent gravel roads the damn thing sounded like a full auto popping off and eventually rattled all the hardware out.

Switched to an AAL VersaTable. Much smarter features and the thing is solid as hell. Buy once cry once:

I also have this one from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09ZLFRWHR?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title) and have been quite happy with it.

And now as soon as the cutting board @Operative73 linked to above comes back in stock, I'll be replacing the plywood board with that one.

I very happy with that cutting board. I measured, took my time, cut it out like the original wooden one. Not hard. used a jigsaw, drill with hole saw, small drill bit to drill holes for the slide pins, used a medium and fine file to smooth the cut marks. My board did rattle a little. my solution was to make one wrap around the board long-waysnwith Velcro, that fixed it and I have a run Velcro if I need it in a pinch for something.

I got this RC table a couple years ago. Still works great, never any rattles. You can spend a lot more for a table if you want, but I've been happy with this one.

Ok @Adventure Lab (Team) price is a bit steep. But I get why. If I decide to get your table is it possible to add a light in the cut out instead of the battery monitor or the red arc? My jeep isnt outfitted to need the battery monitor or any red arc set up yet and a cooking light would be super beneficial!

Thank you everyone who has commented so far, your opinions are very helpful! And the pictures of them in use on the trail help too! My jeep is mostly stock except lift and tires so we mostly go on day trips or a single over nighter since my wife’s Escalade is quite wide for most Jeep trails. So much of the overland gear is overkill for me right now until she gets her Jeep.

Back in ‘21 my wife got me the Outback Trailgater table for my birthday. Nicely made, no rattles and they’ve sent me 2 packs of the inserts so I could reinstall into another Jeep for free since I initially installed it. Very responsive customer service in my experience.

I have the Trailgater also. It's come in handy many times. The only negative about it is that you have to use 2 hands to lower it and then put it back in up.

I agree with others that have posted about the RC table, inexpensive and works. I got frustrated with things falling through the holes and no extension, so I went to Walmart and got an $8 plastic cutting board. It is a work around. Really like the links posted for the E-Cowboy table on Amazon. Planning to try that next.

Unfortunately we do not have a cutout to add an additional light however they do come standard with a cooking surface light.

I have the Trailgater also. It's come in handy many times. The only negative about it is that you have to use 2 hands to lower it and then put it back in up.

Shoutout to Doc at Springtail! Excellent product. Highly recommend for functionality.

In use 3+ years ago on vacation. There are more pics on my phone but i'm terrible at updating so if you want more just tag me and I'll dig through and find them. only difference is basically more stickers. it's held up well, zero rattles, use it all the time with the family on trips, on the trail, out and about, and even when working in the back of the Jeep in the driveway.
