Just had a ton of work done (axle swap, knuckles, axle shafts, ball joints) and have noticed a weird sensation Ive never had before. It feels like a sway back and forth. Almost like when you drive in a uneven spot in a road and it wants to pull you to the side. Except its going left and right. Its not severe but its there.

I dont think its an alignment issue as I just had one done 2 days ago however I did change from 35’s to 37’s yesterday. Plus it tracks pretty straight.

My 37” KO2’s are at 32 psi. Same that I ran my 35’s at. Im going to drop them to 28 and see what that feels like. The chalk test shows Im slightly high.

I did notice my trackbar up front is 1/8” to the drivers side. I need to adjust it but would that cause the feeling Im getting?

My sway bar quick disconnects are torqued and the links are tight, no slop.

Anything else I should be looking at?

Check your track bars to make sure they are torqued properly. I had a similar feeling after I installed my suspension lift because factory spec only calls for something stupid low on the track bar. I used steersmarts spec (I think 130?) and no more issues!

Thats on my list when I adjust it to even it out. I have had an issue with the teraflex trackbar collar loosening once already so if its done it again theyre going to exchange it.

I'll add that when the Jeep was parked, I was unable to wiggle it, so it did seem tight, but it was definitely loose. Huge improvement after I tightened it up. This was specifically axle side, but I tightened the frame side as well.

Next, I would check caster and toe.

Will do. Thank you!

How much lift and what’s your caster set at ? I wouldn’t bother trying to get the 1/8” out, you’ll be moving the trac bar a 1/16”. That’s not your issue. Torque could be but not 1/8” off center……

Lift is the Mopar 2”. I’m not sure about the caster as I forgot to get the printout. Im thinking I may just have them redo it and give me the printout.

That’s my first guess is you’re low on caster…

Was the lift already on before swapping all other mods? Do you have rear TB raised bracket or an aftermarket adj?

Lift was already on. Rear trackbar is adjustable and both sides are even.
Main reason asking is definitely the feeling of a lifted Jeep is different ?. Also, when I added aftermarket rear adj TB and used the raised bracket on my last rig with the Mopar lift, it helped with sway so much so my wife stopped over correcting the steering when she drove it ?

Yeah when I went to the lift it was a really drastic difference in feeling.

Im trying to remember if it felt weird yesterday before I went to 37’s but I went straight from the shop that did the work to discount tire so it was a short time driving it.

Definitely would start with checking all torque settings and possibly toe setting since they swapped out all your steering components with the Rubi axles.
