Ae they longer to make up for the lift height? What about the rear links? No I have the Teraflex quick disconnects.
I honestly cant remember if they were longer than the Mopar lift ones. I know they are rated for a 0-6" lift and are 8.5" long.Ae they longer to make up for the lift height? What about the rear links?
I had an odd sway feeling which completely disappeared once I installed longer rear swaybar links to make up for the suspension lift.
Check your track bars to make sure they are torqued properly. I had a similar feeling after I installed my suspension lift because factory spec only calls for something stupid low on the track bar. I used steersmarts spec (I think 130?) and no more issues!
Ok I checked the torque specs on everything I could get to and it seems good there. The only thing I cant get to is the trackbar clamp because my steering stabilizer is blocking the 2 bolts and I cant find the torque values for the Fox tie rod clamp to pull it out of the way.How much lift and what’s your caster set at ? I wouldn’t bother trying to get the 1/8” out, you’ll be moving the trac bar a 1/16”. That’s not your issue. Torque could be but not 1/8” off center……
If caster feels good, I would let it be! I run closer to 4 degrees of caster, and to me, it drives like a Jeep! It was more important to me to keep a good pinion angle for the front driveshaft because I have automatic 4WD transfer case and wanted to make sure that functioned properly at speed. At some point, I may play with it to see how far I can push it without driveline vibrations, but I am in no hurry to mess with it.Ok I checked the torque specs on everything I could get to and it seems good there. I lowered the tires to 28psi and this made a HUGE difference. No more floating feeling and swaying feeling. This alone seems to have solved it I think. Im about to go for a long drive to make sure.
I got an alignment check and below are the values. I have a Yeti tie rod and Im understanding my toe is actually ok for that setup. Caster could go up a bit to get closer to 6 but I may leave it for now until I can change to adjustable control arms. What do you think @Roky?

Toe is off, I like to see it 1/16 th inch toe in…. caster should be in high 5s but if you feel it’s not wandering at highway speeds, then you don’t have to worry over it right now….. How many miles on it ? The camber on driver is out of spec but not critical, sometimes that’s a sign of ball joints going , but you just had all that done, so likely ok……Ok I checked the torque specs on everything I could get to and it seems good there. The jeeps got 30k miles but the axles and all have 13k. Is knuckles and ball joints all that new, or did they come on your axle and also have 13k on them ?The jeeps got 30k miles but the axles and all have 13k. The steering components are all new.
It feels pretty good as is but I may let them bring the toe in and get the caster up to 5.5 and see how it feels. I just got done driving all over and at 72mph on the highway, I can let go of the wheel for at least 15-20 seconds and it doesnt budge. Didnt try going longer.
Anything I can do about the camber?
Yeah they make inserts of different thicknesses, but I don’t think I’d go that route, if it’s driving that good, I’d roll with it for now, enjoy it…..it’s so close to being inspec, it’s possible that’it’s human error,The jeeps got 30k miles but the axles and all have 13k. Ok sounds good. Thank you for the help. Really appreciate it. You also @Philly_Yeah they make inserts of different thicknesses, but I don’t think I’d go that route, if it’s driving that good, I’d roll with it for now, enjoy it…..it’s so close to being inspec, it’s possible that’it’s human error,
Did you check torque in the ball joints ?Came on the axles and have somewhere 13k or less on them. Reid knuckles, dynatrack ball joints.
