I did mine preemptively after seeing numerous failure posts
Agreed. I haven’t done either of mine but I also don’t use the sun visors at all. I know the risks though so I’m prepared for it. Seems like it’s not if but when.

I had same exact issue as you. I used a hammer and it worked like a charm.

1. Fold the visor and insert it into the hole as much as you can without exerting excess force.

2. Using a hammer, hit the black metal connector couple of time. Do not use excess force and be careful to not miss. The connector should go back in. Hit it firmly but not too hard. Accuracy and the right amount of force is key here.

Somebody has already glued that in and that is not the normal failure mode. Usually the flare at the top breaks off. I had two replaced under warranty and have fixed 5 visors using this post in the DIY section.

I install those on my 2020 when the passenger side visor fell out. I moved them over to the 2024 when I got it anticipating them to eventually fall out as well.

Very common, just need to replace it with a new one. I don't know if they've fixed the issues yet or not with the new ones

I did both of mine. They were $1000 each. So sad.
Geez!!!! I only paid $44 for a brand new complete visor assembly from the local dealer.
