Is there a difference between Mopar/Jeep part# 82216370AB for the black twill Sunrider top for a hard top, and Bestop's part# 5245417?

We're about to pull the trigger on one for our '23 JLU.

Is there a difference between Mopar/Jeep part# 82216370AB for the black twill Sunrider top for a hard top, and Bestop's part# 5245417?

We're about to pull the trigger on one for our '23 JLU.

Do research more... but .... they are the same, however the Mopar offering arrives fully assembled and the Bestop arrives and it requires some assembly.

In regard to the Bestop TWILL offering it has a far far better warranty then the Mopar offering. On the Twill SR, Bestop has a limited lifetime warranty.

IF, if you buy a Mopar branded SR, do try to get the dealer to add it to your Vin# as that will increase the warranty period in regard to the Mopar offering.

Were it me though, I would buy from Bestop.

If you have an issue with the Bestop Twill SR, and Bestop, after a quick and easy phone call to them, will send you out a new SR..., thanks to the Bestop limited lifetime warranty. (Bestop will ask for pics of the problem area)

I thought it was probably the same thing, and I realize Bestop is the vendor for Mopar for this item. Was a little surprised to see a Mopar offering that is over $100 cheaper than the Bestop offering (both twill), as OEM items seem to always be much higher than what the vendor offfers under their own brand. Would definitely be great to have the better warranty though.
