LOL! Thank you! Sure seems there has to be some explanation, I can't imagine the Bestop parts, or the Jeep parts being that different, especially within the same model year! Hopefully, @Bestop finds a solution for those who weren't as lucky! We’ll have to see if the flap holds up overtime. Or eventually Ben’s. But hopefully you did win the lottery. May the odds be ever in your favor.
This problem is not a 2024 problem only. My 2023 Hightide is doing the same thing . The sunrider came with the Hightide package it seals great on passenger side folds over driver side. Took it to the dealer back in July back and forth with dealer since then waiting on Jeep. They called yesterday parts to fix it came in new drivers side rail. Appointment Wednesday, $900 for something that doesn't fit right is not acceptable .
I will let you know the outcome . Keith
Flap still erect?Well bummer! I was really hoping this was the problem. I guess I hit the lottery with this one! I will say that I also held the rail in place with the flap laying flat against it as I tightened down the two front bolts. Not sure if that made a difference or not.
That's kinda personal, don't you think? LOL! Just kidding! I think I was answering your question as you were typing it!Flap still erect?
