Well bummer! I was really hoping this was the problem. I guess I hit the lottery with this one! I will say that I also held the rail in place with the flap laying flat against it as I tightened down the two front bolts. Not sure if that made a difference or not.

We’ll have to see if the flap holds up overtime. Or eventually Ben’s. But hopefully you did win the lottery. May the odds be ever in your favor.

LOL! Thank you! Sure seems there has to be some explanation, I can't imagine the Bestop parts, or the Jeep parts being that different, especially within the same model year! Hopefully, @Bestop finds a solution for those who weren't as lucky!

@Bestop what about those that purchased the bestop brand through a retailer and it doesn’t fit? Are you accepting warranty claims? Glad to see Mopar has stepped up and offered replacements. I swapped back to the freedom panels as I don’t want to screw up the rubber flaps since the fit and finish of the sunrider top I have isn’t correct.

New drivers side rail on the Sunrider, or the Jeep?
This problem is not a 2024 problem only. My 2023 Hightide is doing the same thing . The sunrider came with the Hightide package it seals great on passenger side folds over driver side. Took it to the dealer back in July back and forth with dealer since then waiting on Jeep. They called yesterday parts to fix it came in new drivers side rail. Appointment Wednesday, $900 for something that doesn't fit right is not acceptable .

I will let you know the outcome . Keith

They said originally they were going to order a rail for the Sunrider. When they called after I dropped off the Jeep they said the wrong parts came in . The next thing I know dealer calls said Jeep sending me a new top.

LOL! It sure would be nice if @Bestop gave an official decision here. Mine is still hanging in there without being tucked and it's still laying flat. It still baffles me how it could be different than the rest of the 2024s.
