Thank you to those that tagged us here. The information you were given from the CS rep, is correct, the flap needs to be untucked, as you can see in the video at the 4:42 mark.
QC did test the Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop on a 2024, what they found was that Mopar changed the center of the Hardtop, where the rear center clamp to the Sunrider goes therefore QC made a slight change to the clamp so that it works on all years, 2018-2024. I do believe the same thing was done for the Mopar version that Bestop makes.

Hopefully this helps?
Let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can hopefully be of help with!

That picture looks like it doesn't have the flap that's on the 2024 (since you can see what appears to be a sticker on the Sunrider mount in this picture). It almost looks like it would be better to have it tucked under the Sunrider mount, the pressure being put on the untucked flap could cause it to tear over time or become deformed to a point it might not seal correctly when the Freedom Panels are reinstalled.

My Sunrider is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. If it arrives early enough, I'll try to get it installed tomorrow afternoon, otherwise, it might not be until later in the weekend since it looks like rain all day on Saturday!

A dead giveaway that the JL used in the video is not a 2024 is the fact that it still has an antenna as opposed to the 2024 which has an antenna built into the windshield if you look at the opening and throughout the video, the mast antenna is clearly visible. So it seems that even @Bestop’s people don’t even know what they’re talking about by showing us a frame from a video of a vehicle, which is clearly not a 2024.

When my Sunrider arrives I'm going to take a couple pictures of the Sunrider part that fits against that flap before I put it together. Will take a picture of it next to the same section of the Freedom Panel to see the difference between the two. I'm betting the front of the Sunrider mount needs to be modified slightly to fit the 2024 the way it should.

Yeah. I guess I am SOL. Hopefully the rest of the 24 owners will see this and wait until it’s fixed.

Any of y’all have the dual top option? Just wondering how the soft top fits if the sunrider top has this issue. I see 24’s on the lot with soft tops that don’t seem to have this issue, but I haven’t tried installing my soft top yet.

Quite honestly, if the 2018-2023's don't have that flap and they seal okay, I don't see why it wouldn't seal with the flap tucked under the Sunrider. Seems like it would be better protected from being torn or damaged if safely tucked away. It's foam on foam when tucked away, so you'd think it would conform and still provide a good seal.

If mine fits like yours with the flaps sticking out at that odd angle, I'll probably tuck them under and see how it seals. If it leaks, I would think it would be on Bestop to find a fix, since they advertise it as being compatible with the 2024s. Is yours a Twill Top? They have a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

I only have the hard top, so have no idea how the soft top fits in that area. It would be interesting to see that area seals on one with the soft top.

Yes, mine is the twill “Mopar” aka Bestop, so hopefully that applies.

Did you purchse it with your Jeep? I have read that the Mopar Sunrider does not have the same warranty as the Bestop, but if it was purchased with the Jeep then it's covered by the same factory vehicle warranty as the Jeep. It makes no sense why the warranty would be different because Bestop makes it for Mopar, but apparently, they don't/won't provide warranty coverage for the Mopar Sunrider. Maybe @Bestop can provide some more insight into what options you might have.

My bad, let me talk to Quality and see if I can get you something more helpful. I didn't realize the rubber in that area was that different from 23 to 24.

Thank you I don’t mean to be rude. It is just his product is very expensive and is going on an expensive vehicle so you can see where some of the frustration comes from. Appreciate your help getting this rectified.

This problem is not a 2024 problem only. My 2023 Hightide is doing the same thing . The sunrider came with the Hightide package it seals great on passenger side folds over driver side. Took it to the dealer back in July back and forth with dealer since then waiting on Jeep. They called yesterday parts to fix it came in new drivers side rail. Appointment Wednesday, $900 for something that doesn't fit right is not acceptable .

I will let you know the outcome . Keith

My Sunrider arrived today and I just installed it on my 2024 JL. I am beyond excited that is went on perfect and I don't have any flaps sticking out!

Now, I did do some test fitting first. I just set the two side arms in place before I attached them to the Sunrider top. In doing so, the flaps were sticking out at first, but after closer inspection, I discovered why...

My first attampt before assembling everything.

I noticed there is a knob that needs to pop into the hole on the roll bar. After ensureing that was popped into place and the support arm was flush to the roll bar, the flap laid much flatter...

This is with the knob fully seated into the hole in the roll bar.

Here are a couple pictures of the knob and the hole it goes into as well as one showing it sitting flush against the roll bar...

Once I figured this out, I assembled the Sunrider and had my wife assist with placing it on top of the Jeep. I then was careful to ensure those knobs were fully seated on both sides before tightening the 4 bolts that attach it to the roll bar.

Here are some pictures of the flap with the door open and closed after installation on my Jeep:

And finally, here it is on my Jeep!

I have to say, I am very satisfied with the Sunrider and how well it fits on my Jeep. If your flap is sticking out, the first thing I recommend checking is to ensure that knob is fully seated into the hole in the roll bar! Hopefully, that's all it is and this will fix your issue as well.

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately already tried that. I think the tolerance with some of the Sunrider rails may be off.
