I hear ya... PaulNY says his came off with little effort. Was hoping someone else would try theirs and see if the removal was that easy for them.

Dynomite, since you're in Maryland, I would think your stickers would peel off as easy as mine did. Our rigs are new, and haven't been subjected to years of sun and heat. Therefore, proceed at your own risk, but mine peeled VERY easy once some warm heat was applied. I started peeling from the corner edge, and then the whole label on both sides just started to peel back and never separated.

It looks worse in the picture, than in person. It's hardly noticeable, but I have a detail friend that is going to come over and use his magic to get the slight hint of a square off. He is magical with his detail stuff, and said he should have no problem removing whatever is left.

Bottom line, it looks WAY better with the decals removed. Those things stick out like a red flashing light.

I'll be doing this...wonder if the visors come off to do this inside and not from the vehicle. I've used GooGone on similar things, but would test it to ensure it doesn't change the color/texture.

pixeldecals is a sponsor at this forum. They are in the process of coming up with cover up decals specifically for the JL/JLU. pixeldecals is working on getting measurements correct.
hopefully doesn't take them long to measure a few stickers! :whew:

I had very, very little residue but a quick wipe with rag and WD40 cleaned it right off. Completely gone.

So WD40 is the trick? I was going to buy some goo gone, but sounds like you found the answer :like:
