Haven’t figured out links yet, but that will give you a start for using the search. Thanks Bill.
My gut agrees.Ummmm I love a deal as much as the next guy but I think that if you have a JL then you should get a bumper made for a JL. That's just my 2 cents.
I agree man, don't wanna put the wrong size shoe on such a nice new jeep. I do like the idea of buying bare metal. That's what I did. Then you can paint or powder coat and make it exactly like you want. I had them put a light texture in mine to where it is still fairly smooth and wont trap dirt. It came out really good.My gut agrees.
Might turn out to be a nightmare, and I don’t have a torch or a welder.
Thanks Red. I needed the confirmation.
Not ready to pull the trigger on a $650 bumper just yet, but no hurry, and cheaping out is a prescription for long-term regret, in my experience.
Looks a lot better washed!!Actually, I’ll say this: maybe I’m just not very particular or picky about parts on my jeep and therefore less likely to care about a winch mounting location. My old YJ had a bumper that had a mounting location and holes for a winch that I never used and I always thought it looked fine. I wouldn’t get too hung up about that because you can always cover the holes up (I didn’t even bother with that).
