My Jeep is finally on her way to me from Granger. After a 6 month wait I was anxiously tracking it using the Jeep app "location" feature.

What a joke of a "feature"!!!

I initially set a boundary alert to let me know when the Jeep will be picked up. It never alerted me.

Secondly it kept for hours and hours, like 8 hours, showing the Jeep in a single spot on the highway.

Now, for the last 48 hours it shows it stuck at a Love's Trucking spot almost 1000 miles away.

My driver called me to confirm that the Jeep will be here tomorrow morning, which means that either him, or the app is lying.

Location-based apps are wonky. It just comes with the territory.

In that regard, Google Maps has been the most reliable, but even it has an annoying hiccup now and then. Life360 is occasionally a bit wobbly too, but it's still decent enough that I continue to use it.

Give the driver a chance to keep his word. ?

Every damn time I leave the house, the Apple “Find Me“ app notifies my iPhone that my iPad is no longer co-located with it. It’s annoying, but reassuring that the app seems to work consistently.
