I have the 2.0, with all the annoying nanny-state jackassery to protect the environment, others, and me from my own hopelessly stupid self.
I LOVE it. Coming from a long string of 1-ton Cummins Duallys, it feels like a rocket ship to me.
But I read about all the battery problems, and possible solutions, and I get worried.
I camp in the remotest spots I can find. I seek them.
I’ve settled on this:
2kw Honda generator. Fits in front floorboard. I have a battery charger and the Honda accessory cables with my tools.
The 1kw would likely be a better choice for this application, but I already had the 2kw, and it can do a lot more.
If the Jeep won’t start, I’m pretty sure the Honda will, and the Jeep will soon thereafter.
