i have mounted tires in my garage. How long can they sit in there without getting damaged? I likely won’t regear before August. If I move them around so they don’t get flat will they be ok for a few months?

Which direction are you storing them, lying flat or standing up?

IMO (I'm no expert) but it shouldn't really matter. I've let vehicles sit that long with no signs of tire damage, and you're doing it with no weight on them. @Chocolate Thunder - I was typing this at the same time as you ;)

Not a big issue. People store their summer/winter tires for more than half a year regularly. Tires mounted on wheels should be stored stacked, tires only vertically.

I've been stacking my snow tires for 5 months each year for 10 years and no problems. I don't even pressure them down, just keep them on the steel wheels, toss em in the corner.

Stack it like everyone else says, I’ve kept winter/summer tires like this for 14 years with no problem.
