My 2021 stereo has a issue. The right channel doesn’t work. Any ideas? Everything is stock

Considering it's a '21, I would let the dealer deal with it. With that being said, that's awfully strange. Have you verified that someone didn't move the balance/fade to the full left?

Also maybe check the wiring connections. Something may have shaken loose. ?

Balance is properly set. Now the climate control is messing up. Definitely going to dealer.

That certainly sounds like a hardware problem with the screen and not a problem with the speakers or wiring...

Think it’s the head unit. Climate control is acting up too. Going to take it to the dealer

Not sure which stereo you have, but isn't there some sort of 'reset' for the radio/HVAC that can be done by holding down the power and channel select buttons? Might only be for the uConnect systems, not 100% sure. Disconnecting the battery might also do the same.

Tried the reset but didn’t work. Haven’t tried the battery because it’s a pain to disconnect both.

I lost both front speakers due to a harness that wasn’t fully clipped in. After taking the head unit out and checking all connections I finally found it on the amplifier located behind the OBD-II port on the drivers side. I’ll try and find the thread where I took some pictures.

Yay ?

Might check the harness on the back of the head unit if you’re a DIY type. I was able to pull mine on the side of the road in Utah trying to track mine down. If I remember it’s just a trim remover and a screwdriver. The plastic bezel comes out and you’ve got 2-3 screws to pull the radio.

God speed at the dealership if it comes to that ?

Sorry to hear about your radio, Jeffcrna

If you need additional support working with the dealer, our team is available via PM if you'd like to discuss further.

You just have a Mono radio-welcome to 1965…?. Seriously though, sounds like maybe a bad (loose) connection on one side. I’d let the dealer resolve the issue (unless you just want to upgrade to a better unit)
