Have done a bunch of searches but not found a step for OEM Style Running boards. Near as I can tell these things are plastic. We just raised the Wife's "Beastie" and now her shortness struggles to get in. I hate to have to replace the boards just so I can get a step that fits. I planned to go to some Sliders but was hoping to wait until next year. Any one else found a solution or have a recommendation??

I installed Rock Slide Engineering power boards / steps on my 2023 Rubicon. I really like them. They tuck up inside and double as rock sliders. On my 2010 JK I had AMP'S that fold out. They are wider but the Rock Slide come down a little lower. They worked great but could take them off roading where they could get damaged.
PS my wife is also "Vertically Challenged"

I'm in build mode for a new Willys with the 35"" tire pkg. Also considering the Rock Slide Engineering pwr boards, but they are pretty expensive plus more than what I would want to tackle as to installation.........so that would be an additional fee.

As to alternatives, taking a hard look at the Oedro Running Board Steps. Much more reasonable cost involved and easy for one to do their own installation.

I note two different choices for the 4 door . One has colored inserts on the steps, I guess you can get red or other colors as well. That one is SKU 5616.
On the other hand, their other 4 door step option (two step), is SKU 5496.

Anyone have either of these installed and how do you like them. I'm old and creaky now, wife too, need some steps to get in/out.

Just got off the phone early today after talking with an accessory rep that handles lots of Jeep goodies. I mentioned maybe going with the Rock Slide Engineering power boards and asked him just what was the labor costs they charged to install them.................Told me it was over $900 as the system had to be tied into some Jeep Control module, etc.

That killed that whole idea for me.............I will for sure be going with one of the available Oedro Step options.

CAn you relate just what your labor charges were to install those power steps. Seems like a shop near me wants over $900 for the install.
