I've been looking around without much luck but does anyone know if add on steps exist for the OEM rock rails? I like the OEM rails and only take an off road trip twice a year so something that can be removed with a couple bolts before heading out on a trip sounds appealing to me.

Currently I've only found one made by Trigger that Quadratec sells but it's listed solely for the JK.

Thank you,

Ace engineering has rails that mount in addition to the OEM rock rails. I don't think they are steps exactly but it might be worth looking at.

Thanks, I just checked these out but it's pricey at $1k+, probably better to replace the entire sliders at that point.

This is along the lines of what I was looking for, thank you,

If you like the ACE option, other than price, extreme terrain's house brand barricade has a set that work with the rails: https://www.extremeterrain.com/barricade-rock-sliders-2018-jl-4-door.html

Personally, if you get into off roading, I'd at least consider a solid frame mount set of sliders.

Good spot! Ive been eyeing this stuff for a while myself. Didn't realize they had this.

The way I see it WHEN the cheaper steps rust a little then it doesn't matter, it's below the body.
