Not sure I give a damn at this point. I don't think I will buy another jeep. This one should take me through to the end of my jeeping days. If not, I'll probably go full buggy or TJ.

I'm with you 100% on that. This will be my last (new) Jeep simply because Jeep's idea, and my idea of what a Jeep should be, just don't align. Not sure I give a damn at this point. "Stellantis shares have lost around 40% of their value this year."
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy... I am not optimistic; Stellantis will just replace him with an even bigger crook. It is a foreign conglomerate, and sees Americans like you and me as marks, not customers.
I had a younger passenger in my JK this summer who didn’t know what the extra handle was for on the inside of the door. I told them it was for rolling down the window. Completely shocked they tried it, ”wow, it works“ then proceeded to roll the window up and down like 5 times in a row.I'm with you 100% on that. Maybe the new CEO will decide to sell off the Jeep brand to raise cash. One can only hope....Effective today, Carlos Tavares is out at Stellantis.

I'm just a little bit ahead of you... This is the '97 TJ I picked up this summer. With the 4.0 and the AX-15 5-speed, it's way more fun to drive than the JL:Not sure I give a damn at this point. When I went to pick up my '22 2dr Willys, the owner of the dealership had a fully equipped 2004 TJ Rubicon with 32K miles on it sitting in the showroom. It was the same color (with a hard top) as my new '22, and was pristine! Needless to say I thought hard about it for about 5 minutes, after all, I was paying cash....I'm just a little bit ahead of you... This is the '97 TJ I picked up this summer. Sounds about right…..coming from an Angry Grill Driver.Meh. The Wrangler has been the only thing about FCA/Stellantis that had any appeal to me. Always regarded the Charger and Challenger as junk.
Bruh, that's not my Jeep in the avatar. I put it there to punk people like you.Sounds about right…..coming from an Angry Grill Driver.
I, too, made the wrong choice. But keep your eye out... It's not too late to make things right...I kick myself all the time for making the wrong choice!![]()
Oh yeah I'll keep my eyes out because you're right, they're out there.I, too, made the wrong choice. But keep your eye out... It's not too late to make things right...
This one belonged to an ex-sheriff friend of mine who takes fanatical care of his stuff. It's immaculate, 102K miles, and came with all 3 tops (hard, soft, Bimini) for $8200.
As soon as I get the kinks worked out of the JL, it's down the road. And it's in nice enough shape yet with only 18K miles, it should dissuade someone from buying new. Take that, Stellantis.
