I got no response . But within a day I went from I to kz. No way of knowing if sending the email got it moving. Probably just coincidental.

So after a week of being told I was in ship and I see my VIN being in transit to my dealer I get this dear john letter. There is no way I'm getting this by summer. original order 3/24/18
I'm now on on the fence on holding out for 2019

Well here I am today I just hit 30 days sitting in inspection... I get all kinds of answers from both my dealer and FCA customer care. FCA saying waiting on headliner install but nothing of the sort from the dealer they just say its still in inspection. My understanding was the headliner was done once you went into JB status (vendor) ? Now just taking each day at a time as am only 6 week into the build, not like some that are counting the months. best to all of you.. :jk:

Six days of inspection so far for me... Jeep Chat said to expect anywhere from a week to six weeks in I status. "New roll out causing delays, ect..."

Well the inspection monster hit me today. After 33 days sitting in the inspection received a nice ha.. from customer care saying they have cloned my order... so the clock has just restarted.. :facepalm:

So the almost immediate status change from I to KZ or shipping for some of you guys who have hit up the inside Jeep contact makes me wonder.

Do you think they are just skipping your vehicles inspection?
Or maybe they have inspected and are passing on doing a repair?

Me personally, I wouldn’t want that stuck in my head. I’d let them sit in I status and follow the natural flow. Sure Jeep could be doing either of those things to ease the backlog anyways even without any escalations but I’d always wonder.

I dunno just something that came to my mind.

I just found out today that i have been in inspections status for 39 days. The person on jeep chat told me they are sending this case to the review team and i should hear back from them in 3-5 days. I'll keep you posted about what happens.

My dealer told me that's what is holding up mine. I ordered a 2-door rubicon and the ONLY add-on I got were the LED lights. It's been in I status for the past 32 days now.

Just curious, but how do the dealers know this?

I’ve emailed my dealer and haven’t heard anything in 10 days. Jeepchat said they were going to review only after I said, “Wow! What is taking so long?”

yes I had a resolution in 3 business days after it was escalated. If you don't hear anything from that you can also have your dealer reach out to their rep. That helped me as well

Well I just received a status update. FCA found an issue with my Jeep build and “cloned” a new Jeep. So I guess I will have a super late 2018 build since the 2019’s are right around the corner. Looks like the wait starts all over again.
Just found out my build was cloned too. Went from D1 to JB within 4 days after pending inspection since July 17.

Date ordered: 07/03/2018

D1 status date: 08/19/2018
