  1. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

Got my Roam frame mounted sliders last week, but haven't had a chance to take pics until today. The installation was straightforward; the 2-door versions don't have rivnuts like the 4-doors do. The driver's side rear mounting arm seemed angled a bit high, causing the rear of the step to be too...
  2. What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

Got my Roam frame mounted sliders last week, but haven't had a chance to take pics until today. The installation was straightforward; the 2-door versions don't have rivnuts like the 4-doors do. 3. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

I ordered the Roam sliders for my 2-door Wednesday. Got an email from Anthony at Roam that they were available for purchase the day before. Haven't received a tracking number yet. How long did it take you guys to receive yours?
  4. Bent rear shock mount.

Came down on some rocks during the weekend, and when I got home I noticed that the bottom mount for my rear shock is bent. The vehicle drives fine, as it continued on the trail for another few rough obstacles followed by an 80 mile drive back home. Here's a pic of it. How bad is it, and should...
  5. Inspection Purgatory

Your original order has been in inspection for 2 months now? From what I've read from other people's orders (as well as my own), after about a month in inspection, the order gets cloned and a new vin is issued. Make sure your salesman looks into it and checks to see if you've been issued a new...
  6. Inspection Purgatory

They won't specify what the issue was?
  7. Inspection Purgatory

Call your dealership every few days because they'll give you more accurate info than customer service. I had to call mine after my original order was in inspection for around 30 days to find out the order had been cloned and a new Vin was issued.
  8. "I"nspection Hell

The cloned order just reached paint according to customer service. So at least that's making progress. The origiinal Vin is still in inspection when checked today out of curiosity.
  9. The dreaded JB freeze

    How'd you find that out?
  10. Shortest Date Ordered to Delivery time

With the original Vin, it went from d1 to the normal build stages, like e, f, and g. Then it hit I and it stayed for a month before a new Vin was issued. I still check the original Vin out of curiosity and it's still stuck there.
  11. Shortest Date Ordered to Delivery time

I'm 26 days into D1. On a vin issued after my original order was stuck in inspection for a month, ordered July 2.
  12. It is a guarantee they will get around to building every order?

Rubicon Red 2 door Manual transmission LED lights That's it. No other options. So maybe the LEDs? I have no idea.
  13. It is a guarantee they will get around to building every order?

If an order is stuck in a particular stage for too long (for me it was "I" or inspection stage), they will create a duplicate order which is issued a new vin number and starts the process over from the beginning.
  14. It is a guarantee they will get around to building every order?

This is my first time ordering a vehicle (and it's turned out being a pretty shitty experience thus far), and as such, the first time I've really followed the process of it. Historically, has Jeep (or any car manufacturer) ever just stopped building orders past a certain date for the model...
  15. Jeep built?

Jesus. My order was cloned 8/17 and its still in d1. And the first Vin was ordered July 2.
  16. Sat in "I" status for over a month, now a new VIN with build date of October

I called my salesman and he said he'll knock off the extra. However it took some haggling. It's annoying that he needed to be convinced in the first place.
  17. Sat in "I" status for over a month, now a new VIN with build date of October

Oh and to make it worse, my new VIN has an increased price of $400 and another extra $100 for the LED lights, because those prices went up AFTER I made my original order but before this new VIN was issued. So I'm being penalized $500 because JEEP couldn't build my order on time.
  18. Sat in "I" status for over a month, now a new VIN with build date of October

Sales guy referred me to a "supply chain management" who said they just don't have the parts to build it yet. When I asked for clarification on what parts, he hasn't answered yet.
  19. Sat in "I" status for over a month, now a new VIN with build date of October

JL 2 door Rubicon Manual transmission LED Firecracker red Meanwhile, mine probably won't leave d1 for amonther month and half, according to my sales guy.
