Standards being delayed

Hey anyone else hear that the 2023 wranglers are being delayed from shipping due to problems w the manual tranny models? Mine keeps getting delayed! Dealer says it’s in JS status and website said still in production.. thanks!

Yah, they can’t sell any vehicles with an unresolved recall. And no parts available yet. So you might be in for a wait. I just hope they have it sorted out before my registration is due. CA won’t even let you register your car with an unresolved safety recall.

They've been selling them with manual transmission problems since 2018. I guess they finally decided to do something about it. So be glad for that.

Yah, let’s see if they actually fix it this time. Not just do something stupid like detune the motor. From what I understand we are getting a whole new clutch assembly.

So with the open manual transmission recall, some states you can't reregister them? Does that prevent us from selling them?

While I haven't had any issues with our 2021 JLR let alone the manual transmission, I'd welcome a new clutch assembly to get this issue behind us. Perhaps they will even reprogram a high state of tune. Let's hope that there are a few additional upsides to this solution.
