Hello! I’m hoping someone might have some insight…
I ordered a Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2024 back on June 19 (2023). It was scheduled to be built on June 22 but I haven’t received any updates since. It’s already September & I’m wondering if other people are having this same delay, if it’s a recall, or something else. I contacted my dealer but they have no idea what’s causing the delay either. Thank you for your help!!

The Jeep factory is like a big ole mysterious realm. I hope you get your Wrangler soon. Don't be surprised if you never find out why there was a delay! (Although sometimes ppl on these forums do have some insights. I'm just not one of them.)

Mine:

Order Date: 2/14/2023
Build Date: 3/31/2023 (from door)
Delivery Date: 5/20/2023

My scheduled/estimated dates moved a lot after I placed my order, too.

It has been scheduled... but Jeep isn't going to share when they expect it will be built because if they do, the day after you'll start multiple threads asking why it wasn't built when they said it would be... :)

Good things come to those who wait...

your dealer can ABSOLUTLY give you more info. Once you are scheduled there is an estimated date for it to be built/shipped (whatever Jeep is calling it). Mine has slipped but go figure. I called my dealer 4 Aug and they already had the info for my build date of 9 sept. and low and behold on 5 sept my jeep went into production. So don't let your dealer push you around. and come in here and commiserate with all of us in the same boat as you (I ordered 4 May FYI)

I agree... Definitely get in touch with dealer, who has details to where your order stands. Toldeo has been cranking out 4xes these past few months. I was super fortunate with an AUG order and a delivery in 26 days... not a typical turnaround for sure! Hopefully everyone else gets similar luck with their pending orders soon (especially before a looming UAW picket line, which would impact production timelines).

I had a July 20 order for a ‘24 Sahara and it was delivered in 27 days. I suspect something is wrong with your order, we have seen this happen with early ‘24 orders. Your dealer should be able to help you.

It wasn’t scheduled to be built on June 22nd, the build date was scheduled on June 22nd. It was probably scheduled to be built sometime in Aug.

This is absolutely insane! We ordered our 2024 Willys the same day your did (June 19) and it was scheduled the same day as yours (June 22). It went into production Jul 17th, was built exactly one month later (June 19) and was delivered August 1st. There really is no rymn no reason to how these get built. I agree with others, the Dealership can see a lot more than what shows on the Tracker. We had a great sales person who kept us informed every step of the way. We knew the various steps during the build process, steps after it was built as well as when it was loaded on the train, when it was off-load and loaded on the truck and on it's way to the dealership! If you are still stuck at Scheduled, I would be pushing your sales person hard to ensure there are no issues with your order. Others here have also called Jeep Cares and had a ticket opened to inquire why it's taken so long. In some cases that seemed to prompt some movement. Hopefully you will see some movement soon!

I ordered a Ram 1500 TRX in May of 2021, and it didn't get to the dealership until March of 2022. It showed up as the next model year and had thousands of dollars of additional options as part of a Level II Equipment Package that had changed for the new model year. The dealership still sold it to me for the price I had ordered it at, despite $9000 of increase in the MSRP. Part of the delay included two months getting through production, or being lost somewhere after production, because the shipping date was 2 months later than expected. Everything was perfectly fine with the truck; it had not been damaged or had any problems during or after being built.

Stellantis is like that, production time on all of their vehicles is all over the map. Some get built within weeks of being ordered, and some take many months to be built, with no rhyme or reason as to why. I think your Jeep will be fine and will show up sooner than later. It sucks having to be patient and not hearing anything from your dealership.
