2023 Wrangler Order Delayed

I ordered a 2023 Wrangler Sport two door with MT on 2/3/2023. At time dealership in Greenfield, IN (just outside Indianapolis where I live) stated 4-6 months. It went into production May 11 then went to JB status around May 25. I finally got an email reply from Jeep similar to what I have read here about a "software" issue with delivery in late June. I have read similar things on this forum that I just joined. Seems it is related to the clutch plate issue. Just trying to get more information. Was really disappointed and am ready for my new Jeep. I have a 2013 Wrangler right now but am ready for the new one.

Yeah they can't sale it while it has a safety recall. Have not heard when they will have a clutch fix.

Dealer just texted me that they received invoice this morning. He stated that meant my Jeep would be moving into transit status. Thoughts?

I wouldn't count my eggs until you have the vehicle delivered to you and in your possession.

The entire sequence can come to nothing at any point. Even after the vehicle has been delivered to the dealer.

Dealers are known to sell factory orders from under them to other customers. Just keep a close eye and hope for the best.

Thanks! And I see the link in the Tracker also. Been looking up Tracker daily and never noticed! No window sticker yet. But status changed today to built! It states it changed 6/14. So shipment is next and luckily I am close to Toledo so it will be truck shipment! Seems like others on other threads are noting same thing. So finally movement and they must be catching up with the software fix for the clutch plate!

So it came out of production 6/16 and I was notified 6/16. Took a few days to get a delivery which was 6/26. Then that was changed to 7/4 then this weekend back to 6/28. Dealer just called and it arrived today and I pick up tomorrow!! Finally!! Almost 5 months from order - crazy
