Spot lights ??

Has anyone tried or do you know of a pair of spot lights that can replace the factory fog lights in their two slots…….they seem kind of worthless and I am interested in adding some longer range spot beams

@KC HiLiTES just released their new version of the Flex Era 3 and it has a high beam function.

I’m grabbing a pair of these myself to replace the factory fogs.

baja designs offers the squadron sport r diving lights that will fit nicely in the oem fog light location. they come in driving combo. spot, or wide cornering. they also have ase street legal fogs in clear or ambers.

i have the squadron sport driving combo in amber and they are awesome. i also have the lp4 in spot on the a pillar and driving combo on the bull bar. both in clear lens. they will light up everything. i love their products.

Interesting. Any idea how they're wired ? I would almost prefer the high function be able to be wired to an aux switch.

That’s exactly how it works. The mains are plug and play and are controlled by your current fog light switch. The high beam gets wired independently to your aux switch.

That’s exactly how it works. The mains are plug and play and are controlled by your current fog light switch. The high beam gets wired independently to your aux switch.

There is a harness that would plug in to your factory fog harness, then it also has a split for an auxiliary switch. So you control the fog portion as normal through the factor switch, then the off-road mode would be controlled by a separate auxiliary switch. If the factory fog is off, but you turn on the off-road mode, it will turn everything on. You don't need to turn on two separate switches to have full effect.
