spontaneous windshield crack

I finished my shift at the hospital yesterday, auto started my 2020 rubicon and noticed a vertical crack emanating from the lower edge of my windshield. It wasn't there when I arrived and there is no physical damage other than the crack. The temperatures in eastern Wisconsin have been as low as -10 this week. Presumably this is from temperature differential. Has anyone had any problems with a warranty repair like this?

It’s likely you had a small chip that grew when the temperature changed. Mine did this twice.
