IMHO. Those that get spare covers are trying to hide that they couldn't afford to match it to the other the four! LOL
Speak for yourself. All of my Wranglers and my '46 Willys have/had custom spare tire covers. My current cover came from Four Wheel Covers. 5-Stars!

Speak for yourself. All of my Wranglers and my '46 Willys have/had custom spare tire covers. My current cover came from Four Wheel Covers. 5-Stars!

I agree with spare tire covers on cheaper model standard wheels, but tire covers are kind of out of style right now. If you have a nice set of wheels, it's better to show it. Plus leaves and water won't build up under the cover. But each it's own in the end...

I agree with spare tire covers on cheaper model standard wheels, but tire covers are kind of out of style right now. If you have a nice set of wheels, it's better to show it.
There are so few new vehicles with externally-mounted spare tires now that the matter of style doesn't really apply anymore.

The Wrangler, the Bronco, maybe a Land Rover. What else? Not the CR-V, not the RAV4, not the Tracker or the Vitara (both being out of production anyway).
