It's illegal for any car manufacturer to void a warranty if you do your own oil changes. They would have to prove that you did it wrong. Burden of proof would be on them. Modifications, well that's a different story....

I just took delivery on a Sahara I had built the way I wanted it. MSRP was $47,450. I got it for $44,640. Of course I had to pay sales tax and documentation fees. But the $44,640 included the destination fees. Are you paying full price? They should always knock at least $2K off the total MSRP.....

All I can say is make sure you keep up with those oil changes and I do recommend using premium gas although the manual does state that 87 can be used. Time will tell. But solid maintenance will always go a long way....

After washing all bugs off really well, spray Pledge furniture polish on your grill and front of hood lip. This will make the bugs wash off easy. As far as the windshield, just wash it everyday with a good glass cleaner and scrub hard to keep clean. I know it sucks, but we love our Jeeps....

I'm reading your post. Don't know if you did this yet, but you must make sure that the fuses have bus bars on both sides. Also, you must go under the hood to your relays and make sure that you have your seat and steering heat relays. Even if they're not there, you should at least have the slots...
