New Rubicon owner here looking for a good option for rear storage security but to also have the soft top go to full locking position. Are there any options out there other then velcro or bungee the top place. Not thrilled to have to do that and not sure what it would look like. If anyone has pictures of their soft top sitting on the tuffy box or the slipstream enclosure looks like vs what it looks like down in the fully locked position, I'd greatly appreciate it. Still a little cold here in the northeast to put the soft top on for the first time.

I as well. I tried the GPCA - Cargo Cover LITE, and that was a BIG disappointment. Not only does it NOT fit the way they claim, but it is a mess when you are driving with the top off. Lots of flapping and no matter how tight you try to get it, there is no way to arrive at a good fit.

All I wanted was a cover that could hide the cargo area (hard or soft) that will work with a soft top up or down.

I have the Slipstreal with a soft top, and no, it doesn't lock in place and does sit a little higher than normal. But I don't find it problematic and I really like the Slipstream (I also have the Slide Floor, which is great).

I always used a couple of wide velcro straps before I got the Slipstream, though, and so continuing to use them really doesn't bother me at all, and pulled tight, I don't have any vision problems through the rear view.

I also ended up buying the Diabolical Soft top cover. It's more money than I really wanted to spend (and it's probably even more now), but it works quite nicely as both protection and keeping the soft top compact sitting on the Slipstream. I keep the tailgate bar in place and wrap it around that to also hold the top down securely. Unfortunately, I don't think I have any pictures of this setup, which I know is what you really want, but thought I'd give you my two cents. If I find any pics, I'll edit and post.

Same here, I purchase a tonneau cover so I could cover the cargo area for when the soft top is down and the top won't go into full lock position. Part of the top actually drops down into the cargo area when it's down and any cover or tuffy boxes I've seen doesn't allow that. The cover I purchased sits in my garage.

And I have used velcro tie downs, it will work, but it's not ideal IMO.

@JayCeeX2 Do you happen to have a link to the cover you have?

@JSFoster75 Can you use this with the Factory Premium Soft Top down? this is very intriguing.

Well, the Quadratec website says "Not compatible with Soft Tops", but I know people use them with Soft Tops... I guess there is a modification that can be made but I'm not sure what/how to do it.

Here’s a few shots from the rear.
‘Tuffy security enclosure, the top does not lock into position so using a Diabolical top cover which I run under the tailgate bar and pull tight to eliminate any bounce.

Tuffy in the back. Soft top in spring, summer, and fall. I wrap a couple Velcro straps around the soft top when it's down. Other than some bounce when going over large bumps it's no issue are all.

Thank you so much for the pictures. They are very helpful. Is that a soft top boot you're using in the pictures. If so, can you let me know which one you're using. It looks like something I'd be looking to get. Thanks again. Sweet looking ride with some great scenery!

I can not recommend the Squadbox enough. It is a great product and while the top folds back and sits on top of it you can get it with the rails and run a bungee that secures the top perfectly. Even before I put the Squadbox in the locks on the top always seemed flimsy so I would use a few straps to keep them from bouncing. There is a reason it is a little more expensive. It looks sleek and works great

it‘s gone up in price since we bought ours, something similar could be made for much less
