You missed three items on your stereotype bingo card: no references to maple syrup, saying "i'm sorry" for no reason or Tim Hortons? Come on, you can do better than that.
I am Canadian - born and raised <3 but I'm West Coast so I would bribe them with Nanaimo Bars.

Now you're talking. You could bribe me with Nanaimo bars. No more sovereignty talks: just send us these delicious things and we're all good. XD

Fixing stupid....
Damn it ... they're onto us !!!
Let's just say we're sorry, and lull them back to sleep.

Check this video by Wendover Productions. It's a good explanation of the current shortages.
Do not believe this people……

This is another trick.

Canadians apparently caused the covid 19 pandemic. (Guess they did not realize the the impact it would have on their acquisition of invasion vehicles)

Thanks for the comment about my questionnable english. Mandatory for doctors in Quebec since we have a strong anglo community. Learned German over the past 3 years (because there's tons of studies coming from Germany) and i'm now learning Portuguese because Brazilians might need a hand in reasearch over the next few years (I volunteered to go).
A doctor who speaks 3 languages and learning a fourth? Man, you should be proud of yourself, not apologizing. You sir are an inspiration!

Again, and I explained it many times on this forum, but the Canadian market is far, far less interesting for Jeep. Just the currency exchange rate puts about 3000 $ (that's for a Sport S) less in Jeep's bank account if one Jeep is sold in Canada instead of USA.

So put yourself in Jeep's shoes. You have a company that makes a good product and the demand for it is through the roof. Will you sell it where you'll be able to maximise your profit? Of course you will. Just like any other company.

Now, USA's economy is back on track after the pandemic and everyone wants a Jeep. Of course, they will honor orders in USA first. It's a very simple logic.

Meanwhile, Canada waits.
Thats the first time i have ever heard of something in the States being more expensive then in Canada. So just for the sake of it i built a bare bone sport 2 door JL. Includes shipping
detroit version is US$ 30640 = CAN$ 37659
windsor version is US$ 32508 = CAN$ 39955
Thats almost US$ 2000 more to Jeeps bank account for every sport sold in canada.
Its a head scratcher

That's the selling price alone, yes. But there's a s*** ton of fees for Jeep to send the car in Canada.
