Okay I have read thru lots of posts on hardtop noise from the freedom panels and not sure how to approach, I have a slightly louder sound of cross wind sound on the passenger side where the panel meets the windshield, no whistling just louder than the drivers side, I have looked to see if the latches are adjustable and it does not appear they are unless I am missing something so looking for suggestions.

Another thing is I have never had the panels off, Jeep only has about 300 miles on it

I have had 4 JK’s prior to my new JL. They have all had hardtop wind noise but the pitch of the sound is a little different in the JL.
It could be that the JL cabin is so much quieter than the JK—especially the lack of tire noise, that the wind noise is more noticeable. It may be the angle of the windshield changing the airflow pattern over the front sections of the freedom panels. In any case it’s a vast improvement because I can have a normal conversation with the passenger at 70mph. There is crosswind noise, but only with a moderate and above crosswind. This all seems within the Jeep norms, and I have had no top leaks even in extremely heavy rain. Can’t say that about any of my JK’s.
