I have a 2019 JLUS and been experiencing a slight bouncing feeling when I first accelerate but it calms down when I get up to higher speeds. I’m running kmc rims with Mickey Thompson Baja legend A/T 295/70/r17 E tires at around 34 psi. I just recently did a swap on suspension with rubicon springs and shocks as well as the longer mopar LCA and it is still doing it. Any thoughts on what may be causing it?

Sounds like an out of round tire. Or way out of balance. Or your tire installer put in bead bags and one never broke open to properly work.

Also verify the springs are in correct locations and seated in their perches. Not that speed should have a factor there but everything tire/suspension wise is possible in your situation…

I ordered them from rimzone. I was informed They do not use bead bags. They pre mounted them and shipped them so all I did was slap them on. I just did a tire rotation to get my spare involved in the mix also thinking that it might shine light on the issue but same thing. Feels like it is coming from up front.

Can you possibly better narrow it down to a specific speed or road type when it’s occurring? And or when it ceases?

I did verify everything looks good. I felt with the same feel before I switched out my sport suspension to rubicon so I’m ruling out shocks and springs at the moment. I appreciate your feedback. And help with my situation.

You may too try something like 28-30 PSI in those E-loads.

It seems to happen between 10-25 mph and stops around 30 and above. I was going to get an alignment but just wondering if could be something else.

Should I do 28-30 psi with a cold tire or one that has been running? I’m in TN so we are still dealing with some cold nights. Running that low of psi do I risk the tire going flat?

I had a similar issue years ago with pre-balance purchased rims and tires. A couple of the balancing weights came off the spare between purchase and when I put it in the rotation.

A cold tire, like first thing in the morning pressure set/recheck.

Yeah… I was just going to suggest a tire rebalance and rotation. Also, it is possible you could have a wheel that is not perfectly round, too. But less likely I would think. Other thought would be if you have lug centric wheels and aren’t using the appropriate ring spacer. Not sure though. ?‍♂
