While greatly possible, that would be some serious crappy compound tires. Only tires I ever recall having that specific issue were the first generation milestars. Heck even our lifted golf cart with Kenda tires don’t do that and it’ sits for weeks with no use with a ton of weight on them. But once again, I know it happens.
It's not the compound that causes it.

Something to consider is when it’s happening. On acceleration you get front to back weight transfer, making the front end lighter. Could be impacting why the rotation didn’t move it.

A bounce would typically be due to something wheel and tire related. Alignments typically help with steering feel and even tire wear.

I'm a big fan of KMC's XD series wheels. I've had their XD138 Brutes for over 60k miles now. The one downside is that they are only lug centric and require hub centric rings. I don't know if they were supplied by KMC or the tire shop, but after several rotations, the nylon spacer rings were starting to loosen just enough to cause a similar feel on my front end. Only difference is that I was feeling it mostly in the 45-55mph range.

Research led me to finding out that nylon rings are great for extreme temperature environments, but they only hold dimension for so many rotations due to having a heavier and larger wheel and tire getting dragged on and off of them. I found a set of aluminum rings that are supposed to hold dimension longer.

They smoothed out my front end. I still haven't gotten around to swapping the rear rings, but will do that on my next rotation.

You are tightening in a star pattern then torqueing in a star pattern right? Not going to completely eliminate the potential for being off center but helps without rings.
Yes, I hand tighten in the air then let it down on the ground to tighten to torque specs in a star pattern.

I had no idea that you needed rings for aftermarket wheels. I’m going to have to pull one off to check if I have them or not. This may be the issue. Is there a certain size I need?
You don’t have to, but it can help. It’s like an adapter. Jeep hub size to wheel hub size. It’ll be in mm. Around the 70s IIRC

These are Metric 121 E Loads, so they’re rated at 80 psi instead of the standard 65 you’ll see in say a 35x12.50. Normally means you’ll run a little higher.

Doesn’t hurt to drop to rule out pressure, hell go to 25 and see if that fixes it. Short term testing isn’t going to hurt anything.

No change from a spring and shock change really rules out suspension. Alignment would be toe, which wouldn’t change but that’s more steering feel.
I dropped the tire pressure down to 32 psi and seemed to quite it down but still wasn’t gone. I’ll see what it does after adding the rings. Thanks!

You don’t. And if your wheels use push through center caps you can’t use a ring anyhow.
