I have not replaced windshield yet as crack has happened in thThis may be the issue especially since the OP said the sound goes away when the windshield is wet.
I notice mostly during freeway driving. Not a whole lot of turning on freeways. It usually happens between 55-80mph.Does it do it while you are keeping the steering wheel perfectly straight and still?
Ok, hope you find the fix.Crack just happened in the past month. This noise has been ongoing since April 2021
Thanks!Ok, hope you find the fix.
Yes, I’ve ridden with dealership technicians, service manager, service writer as well as a body shop manager. And no one can pinpoint where it’s coming from. We are all at a loss.Have you had someone ride with you and move around to pinpoint where the sound is coming from? Might be worth a try.
I still suggest replacing the windshield. You’re going to have to at some point anyways. The noise could be a bad seal between the glass and the body. This happened on one of my trucks years ago. Sounded very similar to your video. Can’t hurt to try since you will have to do it anyways.I have not replaced windshield yet as crack has happened in th

That is really odd. I wonder if its something with the trim around the windshield. The oddity is it stops with water on the windshield. That is really odd. Either way, it would drive me NUTS as well. Does it happen if you barely crack open the SOT?Yes, I’ve ridden with dealership technicians, service manager, service writer as well as a body shop manager. 1. never been driven with windshield down - per manual not supposed to lower windshield on sot, however dealership did lower to reseal frame to hopefully fix noise but it didn’t.Have you driven with the
1. Windshield down?
2. SOT open all the way vs closed?
3. Check for something stupid like glovebox stuff rattle?
Did you ever figure this out Just bought 2024 JL and it has this EXACT sound when I drive at highway speeds 70-80mphI have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler sport with the sky one touch. Jeep has high pitched sound coming from somewhere. Top, windshield, doors, even back seat has been readjusted/lubricated/resealed and nothing has solved the issue. This noise is a migraine trigger for me. I’ve had the Jeep for less than a year. And it’s been in the shop 4 times trying to find/fix this one issue. Has anyone else had this problem found a fix? I don’t know of any other way to explain it other than either sos signals or Morse code in high pitch sounds
( video of sound-while driving. Only way to prove what I’m hearing
