I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler sport with the sky one touch. Jeep has high pitched sound coming from somewhere. Top, windshield, doors, even back seat has been readjusted/lubricated/resealed and nothing has solved the issue. This noise is a migraine trigger for me. I’ve had the Jeep for less than a year. And it’s been in the shop 4 times trying to find/fix this one issue. Has anyone else had this problem found a fix? I don’t know of any other way to explain it other than either sos signals or Morse code in high pitch sounds

( video of sound-while driving. Only way to prove what I’m hearing

That sounds like an electrical sound, buzzing from the speakers

Sounds like other life form, Trying to make contact! ? Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered that top? I would not be able to deal with that noise! It sounds like electrical. Have u had the speaker connections checked?

I thought it was electrical at first as well, but It will make the same sound with radio off. It just so happened that video was taken with screen on. I have to say if I spray windshield wiper fluid- noise will stop till everything is dry - and sound will not happen if raining.

I love the top don’t get me wrong- I have not found another SOT owner who has the same issue. No one can figure out where the noise is coming from - not even ( supposedly ) a jeep engineer who came out to look at it. I’m at a loss and figured I’d try here in hopes I could find a fix. The dealership has looked and checked everything they can think of. I am to the point of thinking it is a manufacturing defect of my jeep itself.

What makes you think it's the SOT vs any number of other things that could be making noise?

Sorry 2 hear that. The only time I have ever heard something similar, Is from radio/electrical interference. Can simply be a wire touching another. Hope u get it resolved. Good luck!

A cracked windshield especially one with multiple cracks has got to vibrate and make weird noises than a fully sealed non cracked one.

It would also explain why spraying the windshield wiper makes it go away until its dry... the extra water changes the resonance frequency

I honestly don’t know what it is. I believe it is something on the outside as once water hits the noise stops. If I’m on the phone the other person can also hear the noise. My jeep is fully stock on the outside, no light bar, stock bumper, stock tires etc. The only thing that has been added are the little blue rings around the a/c vents which were added after the noise was first heard approximately 3 weeks after date of purchase. Dealership has adjusted doors, adjusted top, resealed top, resealed windshield, resealed windshield frame, checked electrical, seats etc. I’m not sure what else can be checked.

This may be the issue especially since the OP said the sound goes away when the windshield is wet.
