Remote start ? Is that not only for the phev version ? I’m in the uk and don’t think we have this
I think most trims with automatic transmissions have the option for remote start.

I think, here in EU is not common the remote start. I haven't seen it for a long time no matter the car brand.
Mine is a '21 JLUR and it doesn't have either (based in Spain).

Get the SOT - single best feature I ordered with my Jeep. No issues in the New England Winter driving up to the NH/VT mountains often.

If the SOT is like a premium soft top, cold isn’t an issue. However, on real cold days, I do feel it on the top of my head. Nothing bad. Just slightly colder.

Cold Temperatures and Jeeps....

It's an easy answer: It doesn't matter what top you have. It's not about staying warm while driving as the heater is more than capable of warming the vehicle up and keeping it warm while running.

It's more of a question of how long does the heat remain after turning the vehicle off....and the answer is not long for either material.

Going back to my TJ, and now having the JL - there not much of a (noticeable) difference between a hard top and soft top when it comes to keeping heat in

I am considering buying a Wrangler that has a Sky One Touch roof. My concern is whether or not I should be worried that during colder weather that it will be colder inside the Jeep compared to a hard top. Should I be concerned it’s that or is there really no problem?
I test drove one with a SOT and my only complaint is I found it a lot noisier than the hardtop but, that may be just my perception.

In Europe it's often called "remote climate control" or some other euphemism to get past some European countries legislation that prohibit vehicles from being idle un attended. In myBMW app they literally changed the name of the function from remote start to remote climate control as part of an update. Land Rover also only supports it from the app now, not from the key FOB.

But many brands support it in Europe - maybe you are just not aware of it.

I will not buy a vehicle without remote start/remote climate control. It's just plain stupid not to have it.

Hands down I suggest get the SOT, best decision I made. Family and I enjoy it a lot; it brings joy and laughter to us. We can open and close it anytime we want, see the night starts, take pictures, etc.

During summer when parked, the fabric gets very hot, same as the hard top, but when I drive off, the fabric cools down in 1 minute. In a heavy traffic, if I'm moving 10-20 mph, the fabric doesn't get hot.

The noise doesn't bother us, it's more on the nicer less annoying sound, unlike our car where the road noise is just unbearable, we hear and feel every crack or the windshield noise. When passing an underpass, the sound from other cars bounce back from under the bridge and it can be loud.

I got the insulator you put up on inside roof with Velcro and it cuts the noise and has better heat inside HOTHEAD HEATLINERS, I'm in Massachusetts too

, i go the rear foam for the back windows too ,,BIG difference and worth the $$$

Of the many things that can be nitpicked regarding the JL-generation Wrangler, cabin heating isn't one of them. It's accepted that our Jeeps have superlative heat output, irrespective of the engine.

The 2.0T might win in the First-With-Warm-Air competition, if only because there's a cooling circuit built into the exhaust manifold. I don't have any Princess and the Pea options like heated seats or remote start, either. I get in, press the Start button, and get on with my day.

My JLU has a soft top. I've never been chilly, no matter the ambient temps nor the driving speed.

My JLU has the Sky one touch and I love it. I was leary at first about wind noise, leaks etc but it is great. My wife has a Bronco Raptor and the wind noise in that thing is terrible. My Jeep has to have a pretty strong cross wind before the Sky top will flutter and even when it does, its very minimal. I live in an area that has frigid winters and smoking hot summers and the top has been great. I like the fact that when in the mountains, hit a switch to open it and if it looks like rain just hit the switch and 15 seconds its closed. Don't have to worry about the freedom panels bouncing around and taking up space in the back either.
