I am pulling a camping trailer. Should I have ParkSense turned off?

Thanks all, thought I was going crazy. My understanding was if a trailer is attached, the ParkSense feature is disabled.

Nope, it stays on. I’ve been turning it off when I attach my camping trailer. Not sure if that has any affect on other safety features.

I have to disable ParkSense when carrying. Bike or beach chairs as well.
The sensors ‘see’ the obstruction as soon as you select reverse

You have to think about how it operates. Those sensors are only capable to detecting objects. There isn't a logic circuit that can determine what kind of object. So if you intentionally add an object that is in the detection range, ie a trailer, then the system is going to alert to a object in the path.

A lot of vehicles will automatically disable the backup sensors when a trailer is plugged into the OEM trailer light wiring but the Jeep does not so you have to manually turn it off if you don't want it beeping at you when in reverse.

I can disable it but don’t the sensors offer other safety benefits? Like will I still get the yellow warning on my rear view mirror if someone is coming up on me in the next lane so I am aware?

Different system. That's Blindspot monitoring. That still works even if you push the button to turn off Park Assist.
