Dude step away from the shovel. No more internet for you today.
He's straight up trolling. The only fukr in JL land that is spouting BS regarding this subject.

Wait, aren’t you two the dynamic duo that also said that getting rid of the FAD will cause driveshaft vibration? ???. I think you need to step away from the internet and get some real world experience with your Jeep…if you even own one.
Fine as in I have been running 37s for 4 years on 4.10 (with the 8 speed auto) without any problem reaching 8th gear on the highway or losing power on the hills (on and off-road). That said, before paying $4K to have 4.56 gears I would much rather re-gear 4.10 to 4.88 or 5.13,
So when did you get the 5.13s, considering this post was 2 months ago?

They wont share that information. Theyll remain as a costumer service and dealer facility but all trailers will be manufactured in the Indiana factory. When? Idk.

I see youre in long island so youd be ordering from Indiana anyway.
I'm actually thinking about moving to Colorado so it would have been perfect.

To say I’m looking at trailers wouldn’t be exactly true… it’s one of those some day maybe things. There’s a local outfit here in Fort Collins called Sparks Overland. They make one I like a lot… (don’t have model numbers or anything) it’s light (I’m really into saving weight where I can) and we’ll built. If I were to go that route some day I’d most likely give a local outfit first dibs. There are lots out there though, with many different plus’s/minus’s… it’ll be another deep dive down that rabbit hole if/when. But I’m inclined to support a local builder if I can.

This is exactly my thought process. I definitely want to pull the trigger on it someday soon. Youtube is great for trailer rabbit holes lol

These small trailers are pure comfort man. I use mine as a base camp. Take it close to the trails I wanna run and then hit the trail, then spend the night on a real mattress with heating and all the creature comforts. Cook a nice warm breakfast and hit the road. Itll take any fireroad or easy trail with ease. But the trails I hit with the Jeep I wouldnt wanna be towing anything lol.

So I got a middle offroad model and added a 2inch lift to it for better clearance and in case I wanna fit 33s in the future on it.
sounds like heaven to me!

I put him on ignore. He's a complete idiot and totally proves it by dodging the technical questions and making genius statements like 5.13s and a JK transmission are a great combination, but somehow a JL with an 8 speed is not.
You need a 5.13 with 37s on a JK because it only has 5 gears. A JL with 8 gears is what makes the 4.88 the sweet spot with 37s.

So when did you have 5.13s or 4.88s on a JL? Also you said the RPMs were too high with 5.13s on a JL.....but not on a JK?

5.13 summer of 2019. Never had 4.88 but have driven enough with it to know that’s what I am going with on my current Jeep in the future. Yes, for me the 5.13 on the JK felt a lot more natural than the 5.13 on the JL. Like I have said many times before, each person’s experience is going to be different based on a lot of factors. I have no doubt that Carbon, based on his unique factors, had a better experience with his 5.13 than his 4.88. I said from the start that my comment was my opinion.

Well either you’re lying now or you were lying 2 months ago. Which is it?

OP if you've taken the time to ask the question... and waded through 14 pages of replies... you know what to do. Regear and don't look back.

Because by trolling me you found a comment where I said I have run 4.10 with 37s for 4 years? I haven’t for 4 “consecutive years” but have run 37s with a 4.10 in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 if you want me to be specific. Oh, and I ran 35s for about 6 months in 2018 since you are probably setting up to bust my balls about that next.

Any more interrogation or can we let OP have their thread back?

It’s not the 1st time you have and sadly probably won’t be the last. Any more interrogation or can we let OP have their thread back?
Nah I’m not letting you slide this time. You’re a liar and have no idea what you’re talking about……again.
