Security light stays on while driving sometimes

I’ve noticed occasionally that my little red security light will stay on while I’m driving. It usually happens when I get into my vehicle after it has remote started or started on the climate schedule. When I open the door the security sound is dinging, but it stops when I push the start button. However, the light stays in. It will go off if I turn the car off and then on again. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something else going on? Anyone else have this happen sometimes?

I don't remember the wordage, but I believe that is covered in the manual. I know this isn't much help, but might point you to an answer.

Yeah, that's odd. I'm not worrying about it too much for now, as it stops when I turn it off and then on again. I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong. When I open the car door while it's running like that, the car is beeping at me until I start the engine. This is with a key fob going and unlocking through whatever the sensing thing it does when I touch the handle. Maybe if I hit "unlock" on the fob or something it will stop doing that. I'll do some experimenting.
