I see there is a recall for thought 2022 but not 2023. I was driving about 30mph on a side road. I have the safety and advanced safety packages but did not have the acc engaged.
Listening to some music when I realize I don’t have propulsion. Perhaps minimal steering and brakes. Coasted to stop. D was flashing on shifter. Lightning bolt icon in dash. Charge system error. Turned car off, I put it into E save on restart and all warnings disappeared once I restarted car. Was able to get home in a few miles. Battery is charging on mopar level 1 charger. I did a report to NHSTA just in case their software fix isn’t really a fix.
Should I bring it in or this a random occurrence?
