  1. Shifting issues in 21 Rubicon 4xe

I’ve noticed over the last few weeks that when driving up a steady incline in the 40-65MPH range while in hybrid mode that my Jeep seems to have issues figuring out what gear it needs to be in. It only seems to happen when my battery has some charge left. Part of the issue seems to be that the...
  2. Thoughts on Extended Warranty and where to buy them

Search the forums and you’ll find dozens of threads with good info.
  3. 2021 vs. 2024

Did you factory order the 24? I’ve always figured I’d hang onto my 21 4xe until the next Wrangler came out but it’s always tempting to upgrade sooner. The changes for the 24s don’t move the needle enough for me personally. I actually dislike that the antenna is in the windshield now.
  4. Extreme Recon-do I do it?

I’d go for it. Having 35s and the gearing from the factory is nice. Not to mention the fender flare extensions and spare tire reinforcement.
  5. I messed up on one of my wheels today

I’d search for some wheel repair shops near you and get a quote out of curiosity. You may be surprised on what they can do. I had curb rash repaired on a car I owned a few years back and they made the wheel look brand new again for about $150. They may be able to handle something like this.
  6. aftermarket 2024 Grille is here.

I didn’t realize this was a post about an item you actually sold.
  7. B9A recall is available!

Helluva deal on the takeoffs. At least it sounds like they’re doing the recall right
  8. aftermarket 2024 Grille is here.

A link or name of the product you’re talking about would go a long way with a thread like by this.
  9. B9A recall is available!

You could definitely be right on this. I’d hope the engineers have had long enough to look at the problem that this recall “fix” isn’t totally useless. Even if it’s purely a test to run basic diagnostics on the battery it’s better than nothing I suppose.
  10. Accident last year and kind of bummed…

It sounds like the other driver was at fault. Is their insurance covering this? Be prepared for a lot of responses to be centered around having an angry grill and people recommending you to take this opportunity to return it to stock. Glad to hear you weren’t more seriously injured.
  11. B9A recall is available!

This doesn’t sound like enough time to do the B9A. Especially when you factor in that they also say they fixed the defroster recall in that same window.
  12. B9A recall is available!

Got mine back this evening. First time back in the garage on the level 2 charger since November. I was hoping for a new battery.
  13. B9A recall is available!

Any idea how many they expect to fail this initial phase? I’d hope they wouldn’t be blowing smoke with how serious this issue could be. But it’s also concerning that the cause of the failure hasn’t been identified.
  14. B9A recall is available!

I take it you work at a Jeep dealership?
  15. Goodyear Wrangler Boulder MT anyone?

I considered the Boulder but ended up going with Duratrac RT
  16. 4xe recall - over 45k vehicles worldwide

At 43,500 miles on my Jeep and probably 65% of those miles in electric I’ll gladly be in the 1% even if it means months of waiting. I’ll keep driving my Tesla rental.
  17. 4xe recall - over 45k vehicles worldwide

The diagnostic could be the fix if your battery passes the test so to speak. If the diagnostic determines your battery is effected then they’ll replace the battery.
  18. B9A recall is available!

I’d guess the chances of that happening are extremely low.
