Well, I’m joining the club. My first order was placed on 2/21 but the dealer had me locked in at 1% under invoice and wouldn’t budge.

He said it’s in G status but I let her go and just left Neil with Demontrond a voicemail. Maybe that means I’m only at 1.5 order status but it’s coming.

Booo, I’m hoping Punk’n is really going to be built in April, but I have a real bad feeling about it. I could see the color going away until later model years for whatever reason. I would consider Sting Gray, but would not be happy. Waiting on Kim to get back with me on what she is able to find out on the Off-road pages, and potential Punk’n delay / manufacturing hold.

I found this thread kind of funny...........pathetically funny. I placed my order last Saturday.........cancelled it today and placed my second order with another dealer that was both cheaper, and agreed to honor the price we agreed on no matter what Jeep did while the order is in process. I'm a happy pup now <G>

Quoting this from "another" website which apprently was from FCA,just in case it helps you make your choice,although I have no idea why they could not re-activate the off-road pages with a software update:

“According to a recent update provided by FCA US LLC on March 8th; the
decision was made by Uconnect to hold off on the Off-Road Pages for the
Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited lineup until the 2019 model year. With
that being said, the Off-Road Pages will not be available for the 2018
Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited model year; nor will they be available
as a software update.

Since the time of posting, some of the information you will find on the
website or printed on the brochure may have been updated.
Specifications, descriptions, illustrative material, pricing and all
competitive comparisons contained herein on the brochure or posted on

I lied...but, not on purpose. I did work up my second order with DeMontrond but, the first dealer revised their offer. Not quite as good but, saves a drive and further delay. I am leaving the second order club...

My second order went to E status today! So excited but let’s hope it doesn’t sit at every stage forever like my first order! @Smarrtazz any rail updates for you?

Have not posted in here in a while, but today I had an email from my dealer that I have moved to D1 with an April 14th est. ship date! I felt like I just won the lottery.

I already have 315/70/17 KO2s on order, now I may go ahead and swap out the factory wheels with the Mopar beadlocks (and powder coat the rings in Punk’n to match). Also getting some better rock rails or side steps, a Winch, (maybe new front bumper to eliminate the need for the $250 mounting plate for my factory steel number) and few other smal things.

I have a build list together that is in constant flux as more parts come out, but now I feel it’s getting real. I spent the last 10 days in AZ looking at houses, and finding some of the trails out there. I can’t wait.
