Hi,
I am looking at some "seat belt extenders" to prevent warning dialogs from appearing in my instrument cluster when I am out in the desert driving 5 miles an hour.

Has anyone tried some of these, and do they fit OK?

Some of the vendors I have seen offer "universal fit" products and then have a long list of "not fit" vehicles, which include Wranglers.

Has anyone tried these and found that they clip and unclip etc.?

Thank you.

I'm interested, too. I did this in my F150 to overcome nanny chimes that couldn't be disabled via the normal channels

This would be a fantastic way to defeat AutoPark

I use one of these $1.35 seat belt clips found on eBay to disable Auto Park.

I guess the listing I saw that says "not fit" and "Jeep Wrangler" is some sort of CYA statement.

It's just a warning used in a similar manner to the statement on the clip pictured here: "Do not use when passenger sitting on the seat".

Thank you!

Man I definitely wouldn't trust that thing to hold up in the event of a crash.
I'm not really encouraging anyone to buy an extender like that for full-time use

I plug in the seat belt clip (see pic I posted) only when I back up with the driver's door open. I myself, would not trust a buckle extender for full-time use with my seat belt(s)

Good disclaimer.

Funny, just the other day one of the techs at our shop tried pulling a Jeep in for an oil change and couldn't figure out why it would go into park when he opened the door to check his tire placement. Told him to plug in the seatbelt and he just stared at me.
