Does anyone know if they changed anything on the 2024 body that would prevent me from moving my running boards from my 2020 to my 2024? They mount on pinch weld and into threaded floor hole. Thanks

Nobody will know 100% until the 2024s start getting delivered. That being said, there doesn't seem to be any body changes that should prevent them from being installed.

That is what I’m assuming. Thanks!

There is a difference. We just got a 2024 Rubicon X and tried to mount RSE sliders and the bracket for front body mount is too tall. I reached out to Rockslide and they had a replacement bracket already and shipped me a pair. Seems the front body mount got lowered on the frame.

I'm betting there will be some confusion on this for a bit. I'm also guessing that any steps/rails/etc that mount exactly like the stock steps/rails will be fine. Seems like the pinch seam and the body threaded holes will be the same. The problem seems to be the actual body mount bolt locations, aka the dreaded bolt that has been breaking alot.

According to the Mopar parts websites, side steps with number 82215164AB fit JL Wrangler from 2018 through 2024.

Like I mentioned, pinchweld mounts are no change there is roughly 1/2 inch change to the front body mount. The Rocksliders were not able to be mounted without that shorter bracket. I am not working off part numbers it was real world experience and Rockslide Engineering agreed there is a change for 24.

The OP is asking about the OE side steps, not aftermarket rock sliders. At least that’s how I interpret his question.

I can also confirm that for MY2024 one needs to contact RSE and request the correct front brackets. They are much shorter than the "normal" ones.

Just to confirm with the RSE sliders. I have a 24 392 coming in and contacted them. I received 1 bracket so my version of sliders would fit. Is that all that you guys have received? Or is there 2 new brackets I should have received. Just want to make sure I understand. Thanks.
