285/70R17 is stock size but BFG KO2s. Different tires from different brands (or even same size within brand but different model) will measure differently.

Also if your tire pressures are lower it will sit lower.

Those Falken Wildpeak MTs in 285/70R17 were optional on the Rubicons.

If it was built at the factory with plastic bumpers and then had steel bumpers + a winch added, that would account for the ~1" of droop.

Steel bumper and a winch will definitely make a difference. Even more so if it came with plastic bumpers to begin with. Of what I’ve heard is true, the factory springs are slightly different depending on the bumpers that were installed on the assembly line.

Do the JLUR have leafs that can be added in front or back?

Wire rope winch can get close to 100 lbs, call it an extra 50 for the steel bumper. That’s a small person hanging off the front.

Came to *you* with the steel bumper, but you said you bought it used - you need to know if it came *from the factory* with plastic or steel bumpers.

Wranglers come from the factory with different springs based on their original factory equipment. If it came with plastic bumpers from the factory, it will have shorter springs than if it came from the factory with steel bumpers.
