I have a 2021 4 door Rubicon with steel bumpers and a winch with a synthetic line and the stock ko2 tires. I would like to verify my height to see if there's something weird going on. Maybe it was me being next to a bunch of lifted jeeps but something just seems off to me. One guy even asked if my bumper was messed up because it looked like it was on an angle.

In the front, measuring from the ground up across the middle of the hub to the bottom of the fender is about 37 5/8". In the rear, it's 38 1/2".

I feel like I'm in the ballpark considering the steel bumper and winch. I also feel like I could probably use a spacer to even it out if I really felt motivated to do so. With passengers though, it looks better.

I can go out and recheck mine, getting ready to install a MC bumper and winch today on stock 21JLUR with original 33” tires. Until I take another pic, this is one I did earlier on the passenger front fender in the front under the light.

I don' t know how useful this comparison will be, because I have a Sport with Rubicon suspension and 33's, and stock plastic bumpers...but my front is 37 3/4", rear is 38 5/8".

Thank You! Do you have the OEM steel bumpers before installing the MC bumper?

Comparing your measurement location to mine, I'm seeing about 32". From what I hear, the steel bumpers and a winch drop the front down about an inch. The difference between yours and mine is exactly an inch.

On the plus side, my stock caster is almost 6 degrees. lol... I looked at how to install a spring spacer and it looks as labor intensive as getting a lift. Just a lot cheaper...

I had the plastic bumpers. After the install to steel bumper and winch at the same measurement location it dropped 1/4 of an inch. My plastic bumper weighed approx. 35lbs. Metalcloak steel bumper was 61lbs and superwinch was another 61lbs. So roughly an 87lbs increase of weight.

Not sure how much the factory steel bumper weighs but it seems like yours at an inch lower is a bit excessive.

It's not quite so bad, just disconnect the bottom of the shock, let the axle down, put in the spacer, raise the jack and reconnect the shock.

Shouldn't height be measured from the bottom of the wheel? This will exclude tire pressure in measurements.

The teraflex spacer instructions say to remove or loosen the LCA's. When I saw that, I thought why not just replace it all and do it right...

You're probably right. I mean it's less than an inch. I'm not going to lose sleep over it...

But I was looking at pictures of my ride today and you can see the front is noticeably lower. I'm estimating there's somewhere between 150 and 175lbs on the front from the bumper and winch. That's a lot of weight.
