This is a serious question - I'm not bashing Rotopax.
I recently got two of their 2-gallon containers which can "interlock" at the bottom. Thing is, I'm not understanding the point? It seems like a PITA because they twist together and you can't remove one at a time - they have to come off your rack together then twist apart. This just seems pointless? All I can think of is that you'd only need one locking mount because if one is locked, the other one is NOT coming off - - is that the reasoning here? edit: I understand you'd need TWO mounts, but one could be locking and one could be the less expensive non-locking
SWMBO's shoulder ain't great and I know if she has to remove TWO 2-gallon containers locked together just to get some water she's not gonna be happy....and honestly I don't blame her.
Again, not being a smartass, but maybe I'm missing something?? I'm not a super-cool "overlander" guy so maybe I'm just living in the dark? I'm just a simpleton who likes 'wheeling & camping......
